Made these…2 batches. Had to refrigerate a portion of my 1st batch bc I didnt make them all. They ended up spreading some. The second batch spread as well… I did add half cup more sugar in both batches. Wonder if it could be that? They are yummy though.

Hi. I went to the website for the vanilla extract and the bottle said imitation vanilla. So it's ok to use imitation vanilla for sugar cookies but what about the icing?

Weigh your flour! Never measure! You'll have consistent results every time.
If you’re scooping your flour you could be adding 30% more than you need? Me: Use a scale! Please, why are people still using cups? Baking is a science, weighing all ingredients accurately really should be happening wherever in the world you live. A digital scale is not an expensive investment guys 😀
