IN A DRY PAN ADD THE ONIONS AND COOK FOR 4 MINS.
NOW ADD THE OIL AND THE GARLIC COOK FOR 4 MINS.
ADD THE LAMB AND COOK FOR 6 MINS.
NOW ADD THE BERBERE POWDER – BERBERE POWDER REALLY NEED TO COOK SO KEEP STIRRING AND COOK FOR 7 – 8 MINS.
NOW ADD A LITTLE WATER.
ADD THE TOMATOES AND A LITTLE MORE WATER AND COOK FOR 8 MORE MINS.
NOW ADD THE BUTTER AND SALT COOK FOR 5 MINS.
ADD A LITTLE WATER TIME AFTER TIME AND SLOW COOK NOW FOR 20 MINS WITH THE LID ON.
ADD A LITTLE PINCH OF MEKELESHA AND WE ARE DONE.
