0:52s – I was thrown off by this photo. Is this a young adult chef? A girl that was dolled up too much for this video? An alien? I mean look at those eyes! Then she showed up TWO more times in the video. Was this a relative of a Mashed employee getting some internet boosting time? On top of that Matt Lauer made an appearance. And who puts fish in a slow cooker? The truly clueless and/or lazy? Yeezes, this video scrambled me.

Nancy L says:

This is stupid. I always cook my beans in my crockpot. I know many others who do too.

YaniJiménez says:

This video is the biggest crock of shit I've seen in a while! 😂😂😂😂😂

Postghost says:

This video is dotted with bullshit.
The only actual information in it worth a shit, was: "don't slow cook dried beans because it's not enough heat to kill toxins that may be present"(IDK how true this is exactly, but it sounds right)
Slow cooked Whole chickens are an old favorite. Skin on, finished in high heat broiler, food of the gods.
Slow cooked prime rib is what you eat at a Hog's Breath Cafe. So… this part was entirely wrong.
Also things you should add later during cooking, ≠ things "You Should Never Cook In Your Slow Cooker"
Are they literally to stupid to fact check their own shit?

mumblebrain says:
