Don't mean to be Debbie Downer but isn't Xantham gum bad for us? I am surprised to see that ingredient in at home recipes, when I'm more used to seeing it in processed/pre-packaged products made by large manufacturers.

I used to be vegan many years ago and I can say for certainty this pizza is the best piece I ever seen made! Some have too much nuts others have too much meat or dairy but this one had beautiful colorful toppings. I love the garnish. I eat more Paleo now these days but I must say this pizza is amazing I can not wait to try it! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Michelle Griffith says:

What is the temperature of the oven? How long should it bake? I wanted to make it tonight, but have no idea what the temperature should be? Can another help?

KnicksNYanks84 says:

I was a bit disappointed when I made this today.  The crust came out way too soggy.  Need to cook longer (she didn't mention cooking time of crust in video).  Great video nonetheless, I'll try again sometime soon.

Could I use coconut flour instead of the baking mix?

Andrea Standal says:

Can i skip the xanthan gum?? I can't find if :( or guar gum :(

Rebeka Soares says:

I would recommend finding out the source of the xanthan gum you purchase not all are VEGAN and/or dairy free. ''Xanthan gum may be derived from a variety of source products that are themselves common allergens, such as corn, wheat, dairy, or soy. As such, persons with known sensitivities or allergies to food products are advised to avoid foods including generic xanthan gum or first determine the source for the xanthan gum before consuming the food.'' – Wikipedia

I just wanted to follow up and say ive made this crust a ton of times and it's still delicious everytime! I recommend cooking it at least 30 minutes. I tried cooking it less than 30 minutes a couple times and it comes out too soft/ soggy.  its a delicious recipe! TRY IT NOW!
