Skim milk will work! Yes, you can increase the amount of nuts and omit the dried fruit. One of the great things about this recipe is that it is totally customizable!

Hi Catherine. Can you use skim milk or does it have to be whole milk? Also, what if you don’t have dried fruit on hand? Can you omit it and just add more nuts?

It won’t rise or aerate without the baking powder and it might not cook all the way through in the middle if it doesn’t rise at al. So I would definitely leave the baking powder in them!

I think an egg replacer like 1 tablespoon ground flax mixed with 3 tablespoons of water or a small mashed banana would work!
