This is one of the best bread recipes that you will ever find. All you need a bit of time. I hope you guys like my quick tutorial on how to make this simple and tasty dutch oven bread.

For all of you asking:

1/2 cup warm milk
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 pack dry active yeast, about 2 teaspoons
4 cups All-Purpose Flour + some for dusting
3/4 tablespoon Salt
1 cup Lukewarm water add a splash extra if needed
1 egg, mixed *optional
1 tablespoon Olive Oil + for greasing

β€’ No, you do not have to add an egg.
β€’ You can bake it in any baking pan; 400F for 35-40 minutes.
β€’ if you do not have have a cup of milk, use warm water.

Thank you for this. The only thing I'd say is that I wouldn't bake or cook with nail polish on, and I don't. I don't want to end up having chips of nail polish in my food. I wear gloves without powder made for cooking. They sell them on Amazon or Walmart. Of course, I have to take them off as the dough gets stickier, so I just use them for the beginning of the recipe. It's best to bake this without nail polish so that gloves aren't an issue.

I have a cast iron dutch oven pot, no enamel inside.Do I need to preheat the pot to 450 F and then put in the dough, or just put the dough in a cold pot? Sorry if the question sounds silly,I don’t do much baking.Thanks for the answer.
