I've seen flank steak and it's thicker than skirt. and that is REALLY thin.

Btw, adding chorizo is kind of cheating. Adding chorizo to your meal is going to make it better no matter what the meal is. That's how bacon works and that's how chorizo works. =)

I think you got skirt and flank mixed up. Flank tends to be thicker, and skirt is thinner and more marbled. It looked like you had skirt steak there. Unless you pounded the steak out that is.
