I remember when mama made a Lemon Icebox Pie. We all loved them so much. It only takes 5 minutes and then it has to chill. Make this pie today for your family and friends. So easy and so good! Scroll down for the recipe. This recipe will be in our Volume 3 Cookbook when it becomes available.
RAW EGGS: IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO EAT RAW YOLKS, Bake this pie in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes then let come to room temperature before putting in ICEBOX (REFRIG) to cool.
EATING RAW EGGS can be a RISK. If you are a child less than 10 years old, pregnant, or have a comprimized immune system buy eggs that are pasterized for safe consumption. These are sold in the shell at some locations. THE CHANCES of you consuming an egg with salmonella ARE VERY LOW here in the United States. Please see the U.S. Food and Drug Administrations Website on “What you need to know about Eggs by clicking this link: https://www.fda.gov/food/buy-store-serve-safe-food/what-you-need-know-about-egg-safety
Cool Facts: Right now according to data the average American eats 279 eggs in a year. There are 329 million people in the United States. That brings our egg consumption to 91 billions eggs a year with the Food and Drug Administration stating that on average we have 79,000 egg illnesses a year. That is an EXTREMELY low percentage of contaminated eggs.

Check the manufacturers directions and all of the YouTube videos for how to use a lemon squeezer . I thought it went cut side up until someone told me otherwise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyKCeLyOeTY

Many stores now sell a variety of pasteurized eggs. I'm not talking about the stuff in the cartons, but real eggs, still in the shell.
