No other cookie or treat beats Chocolate Chip Cookies. They’re gooey on the inside but crunchy on the outside, pretty irresistible if you ask me!

Honeysuckle’s Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe (makes 8):

Melt and carefully brown 8 tbsp high-quality butter, I used Kerrygold brand
In a large bowl mix:

1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt (kosher)
1/2 tsp baking soda

Then once it’s a ribbon-like consistency, add:
1 1/3 cups AP flour
1 cup large chocolate chips

Mix well, scoop into round dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with finishing salt if desired. Chill 10 minutes if you’d like and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350º F.

Cool and serve

***For non-Americans who cook in grams (Thank you to chut)

unsalted butter: 114g
white sugar: 100g
brown sugar: 110g
an egg (50g)
1tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
flour: 160g
chocolate chips: 175g

also for the oven: 170-180 degrees Celsius

edit: I made them with those measurements today and they turned out amazing, they’re really delicious! I put them at 180degrees celsius for 11 minutes it was enough!

Hello, I really want to try this recipe, it looks amazing, but can you please let me know how many cookies this recipe will yeald

I hope u grow says:

Awesome ccc!!! I tripled the recipe, scooped onto a cookie sheet using a small cookie scoop, covered with cling wrap and froze for 2 hrs. I transferred the frozen cookie ball doughs in a ziplock bag and just take some out of the freezer and bake whenever I need that freshly baked cookie smell in my life. 350F for 14-15mins is perfect for me.

Deborah Johnson says:

The best cookie i've ever made.

Sunny says:

I’ve made this 3 times already cause my family and i really loves it but i kinda recommend using 5-15g less butter (but that’s just my preferences)

Bee 🐝 says:

I love this recipe! Turned out amazing 😻
But my parents want them a less sweet, any recommendations?

Jerry Kryszek says:

I just made them and they are delicious. I tend to try to reduce the sugar a bit and I did that and they were still a bit to sweet for me. It's probably because I added caramelized cashews made with maple syrup. That put the sweetness over the top. But I will definitely make them again. Next time I'll adjust more for the Tablespoon of maple syrup used to caramelize the cashews. They are the perfect texture! Thanks so much!

Cheryl Cummings says:

They look delicious. How many dozen does the recipe make?
